Division and Cherry is an urban development project built on two adjacent, constricted, long-vacant lots, and includes the construction of two six-story, 40-unit apartment buildings. 205 Division is a steel-framed structure, with a full basement. 26 Cherry consists of a combined structural system, including a second floor steel-framed transfer level supporting a bearing wall system of precast floor plank and cold-formed metal stud walls. Both buildings are founded on a deep foundation system of auger-cast piles, caps and grade beams; and are built directly adjacent to property lines on three and four sides.
