Davenport University’s main campus, located on over 60-acres in the Grand Rapids suburb of Caledonia, has seen an explosion of growth since the early 2000’s. JDH Engineering has been involved in no less than 8 major building projects totaling over $70-million and encompassing roughly 400,000-SF of floor space. Included are the 3-story, 60,000-SF Donald W. Maine College of Business classroom building; a 3-story, 40,000-SF classroom building addition to the Robert W. Sneden Center; the 2-story, 100,000-SF Davenport University Student Center and Fieldhouse, featuring a 1,500-seat arena; the 4-story, 120,000-SF South Residence Hall; 3 separate 3-story student apartment buildings at Panther Ridge; as well as multiple buildings at the Athletic Complex, including an athletic support building, and locker room, restroom and ticket/concession buildings.
