Spectrum Health’s new Integrated Care Campus in Holland consolidates offices from five different locations in the Holland area into one modern single-source facility. The 60,000 square-foot building is home to a range of services, from diagnostics to primary and specialty care, from pediatrics to surgery. The two-story, $15-million complex sits on a former Brownfield site.
The steel-framed structure utilizes an open-web floor joist system, selected primarily for its economy, but given careful consideration for vibration. A 10-foot-tall rooftop mechanical screenwall and a drive-through, patient drop-off canopy with a green roof were architectural components that required careful structural consideration.
