Health-Bridge Rehabilitation (formerly Metron) is a short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that focuses on patient recovery from illness, injury, or surgery. The 60,000 square-foot facility, which sits on Metro Health Hospital’s main Wyoming (MI) campus, contains 65-private patient recovery rooms, as well as common spaces, lounges, private offices and a large physical therapy gym. The facility houses physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as nurses and physicians. The $13-million building is 3-stories above grade with an occupiable/finished basement. The building consists of a steel-framed structure, and reinforced-masonry stair and elevator towers provide lateral stability to the building. The main entrance features a drive-under column-free canopy with a 27-foot cantilever.
